OUR STORY
Trauma is the leading global cause of death for children and adults less than 44, and hypothermia doubles the mortality of trauma patients. In the US alone, effectively treating prehospital hypothermia could prevent 41,503 adult and pediatric trauma deaths per year. Having all suffered various injuries, we know the terror of being injured and/or having a loved one involved in a traumatic accident. We are determined to decrease the mortality of trauma so that more people can survive traumatic accidents and return to their loved ones.

Before deciding to work on improving patient warming, the team identified over 250 unmet medical needs in the EMS space. Thus, we understand the unique problems within EMS. We have talked with over 50 EMS personnel, trauma personnel, EMS administrators, hospital administrators, Fire personnel, and Police personnel in our pursuit of developing improved patient warming technology. We have five biomedical engineering degrees from top US universities and more than 20 years of combined experience working in healthcare and developing devices to solve healthcare problems.
